Sticker printing can easily be done via the Internet. If you want to print stickers like bumper stickers online, you can easily do it without too much work or even training involved. In this article I will teach you how to make your own bumper stickers using sticker printing services located online. Just follow the six easy steps below.

;

1. Think of your concept – The initial step in creating your bumper sticker is to think of your concept design. It will be difficult to just go in front of the computer and design right a way. Usually, it is good to just sketch things up, or list ideas down so that you can put in writing what your head wants for the sticker design. Aim to do a sketch mock up or draft of what the bumper sticker should look like so that you will have a easier time putting all your ideas in the computer.

2. Make a digital design – The next step is to make the digital design. You can do this by using image editing applications, or sometimes even office suites. If your bumper sticker design is pretty simple, you can just use a word processor to do it. For example, if your design just uses words, and maybe even a clip art or two then you can just use something like Microsoft word to create your bumper sticker designs. If however you plan on sticker designs that are more complex with different layers and effects, then image editing applications should be appropriate.

Whatever you use though, make sure that you are at least familiar with the software so that you can design your bumper stickers effectively and with the least amount of time.

3. Look for an appropriate online printer – Afterwards, with a design ready for printing, you will then need to look for an appropriate online printer for your stickers. Not all online printers offer sticker printing, so try to look exhaustively for the good printers. Of course, do not settle for the first one you see just yet. Compare the printers you find and see what printers offer the best prices for your printing job. Check on their sample printing as well so that you will know how good the printers are. Try to choose the one printer that has a good affordable price, with a nice and decent sample printing.

4. Specify your preferred options – Once you have a printer chosen you should then start your job order by specifying your preferred options. You will have to choose the type of paper that you want, its coating, the type of ink, the glossiness and of course its specific dimensions. Make sure you ask how much these options will cost you additionally in your print stickers.

5. Send your sticker designs – After you give all the specifications you need, you should then send in your bumper sticker designs by emailing it to them. As a good precaution, it is highly recommended that you send your sticker designs in different file formats. An image file format and a document file format will be best so that the printers have choices on what file format they can use for the printing. Also if you want, try to send it two times so that you can be assured that your designs arrive perfectly to the printer.

6. Receive your stickers – Finally, after sending, all you have to do is wait. You can try specifying if you want overnight printing to be done, but otherwise your stickers should arrive 3-5 days after placing your order.

So that is the step by step process in creating your bumper stickers online. It should be easy enough to follow. Just practice your good judgment as always in dealing with printers and you should have no difficulties in mass producing your stickers.

Make Your Ads More Effective

March 15th, 2010 by admin

Advertisements, they say, is the poetry of today. In a way, this can be said about online classified ads.

Of course, your typical advertisements are more complicated affairs, with their flashy visuals and slick presentation of message. But classified ads are also advertisements, albeit in a different form. And like poetry, classified ads should be concise and meaningful. Although poetry can either be epic-like in terms of length or as short as a haiku, no word should be wasted. Due to the limited space allotted for them, the same can be said about classified ads. And as with poems, a classified ad should pain a perfect picture of the product or service being presented.

So how can you make a classified ad as clear and concise as a well-written poem?

As with the any form of literature, the title should be given prime consideration. It is, after all, the first thing everyone will see, so you have to make the best first impression. For instance, if you are selling a mobile phone, it’s not enough that you say you’re selling a mobile phone on your ad title. You have to be exact in order to attract the interest of a potential buyer or customer. Indicate the model name on the title—and add a keyword or two as well. When an interested buyer is searching for an iPhone, for instance, he won’t simply type in “iPhone” on the search box. He could use” cheap iPhone” or “best second hand iPhone.”

Needless to say, use accurate keywords. There’s no point in saying the iPhone you are selling is cheap when it isn’t.

Next up is the description. Again, it has to be accurate—and do not leave any stones unturned, so to speak. If you think the product or service you are selling has any more attractive features, do not let go unnoticed. When it’s not on your ad, people would assume it doesn’t exist. However, it has to be short. People will not spend significant amount of time reading your product or service description, no matter how well-written it is.

When selling a used item, be as descriptive as possible, even if you have pictures to show. Describe the state of the product, as well as any potential flaws due to its second hand stature. If the product is in mint or near mint condition, say so. Otherwise, it would seem as if you’re trying to hide relevant information.

Many online experts say that it is best to use a classified ad to direct potential customers to your website, if you have one. This may be true and effective, but the best solution actually lies in between. Use the ad as a means to promote your website by including a link on the advertisement. However, it would be a waste to simply using the ad for website promotions, use the ad to promotion a product and just a link to your website at the end of the product description. It’s effective and ethical—and it allows potential customers to see your other products and services.
